Shiplap

Used mainly for external walls, has a natural built in water repellent channel to prevent capillary action. Has a very soft appearance.

V-groove

Can also be used for walls but is most commonly used for large underhangs to soffits and ceilings. A much sharper appearance than the Shiplap.
